Chloe Sunglasses

How could we not be loving the sunshine at the moment? We have all spent so much more time in the garden than usual whilst we have been in lockdown. Luckily the weather has been for the most part warm and sunny but this has meant that already I have run out of SPF for my face. It felt quite strange in the beginning hagging around in the garden just chilling, but my husband was put on furlough, and to be honest, I didn’t have any blog work at all, it really felt like the PR world went quiet.

I a big advocate of making sure you ave SPF on, and good quality sunglasses. Luckily I have a couple of pairs of designer sunglasses which have been gifted to me by my family, so when a company asked me if I wanted to review a pair, I hesitated at first, then I thought how lovely it would be to gift a pair to my nearly 18-year-old.

When I saw these sunglasses on the Smart Buy GLasses site, I just knew they would be perfect for my eldest daughter. She loves more unusual shapes for eyewear.

These Chloe sunglasses are named : Isidora 750. They have a round gold, with detailing around the round metal.

The glass is a dark smoke colour. Called CR39 it is a lightweight, scratch-resistant plastic. I think she looks so lovely in them.

I know she’s a little sad that a lot of her summer plans have now been cancelled, but she’s happy that her family and friends are all safe. So even though she can’t wear these to all of the festivals she had planned as well as that music tour with school she was looking forward to. All those events and trips will hopefully be happening next year so she can use them then.

I took these images over the weekend but she now looks a little different after using dye on some of her hair. She used bleach and toner on two front sections that are shorter but hadn’t taken into account that her hair was both natural at the roots and dark dye. So the overall look was very patchy, at least it didn’t look green, which was the thing I was anticipating. However even though the experiment definitely didn’t work, she’s happy. I suppose at this age it all about expressing yourself. I think that’s why these glasses work as they are a little different, she embraces being a little left of centre.
