As it nearing Valentines, this weeks ‘I Love Mondays’ is love themed.
First up is this gorgeous selection of valentines goodies from Merci Maman:
My favourite has to be the Open Disc Bracelet Duo. It’s left me pondering what people would choose to have engraved on them, I love the idea of pet names, and a special date. Oh and its leap year…maybe a proposal? If you don’t own any Merci Maman jewellery, you can read my review of it HERE. The engraving is just so beautiful, and they have many more beautiful personalised gifts on the site.
Moving onto something, I have been coverting for a very long time. Have you heard of Velvet Ribbon, an online boutique.
They sell the most gorgeous mix of new and vintage things. I have always wanted a vintage quilt, and this one is just perfect! It’s a beautiful 1920’s Welsh Quilt.
Oh how I would love to receive this from Tall Dad for Valentines, I’d use it as a lovely blanket to snuggle under when watching a movie together. The description says that it shows very little sign of wear, priced at £220, I know its expensive however I think it is worth every penny! I would love to give it a new home.
Or finally how about this beautiful Blue Vintage Bottle (centre) from their boudoir collection.
Wouldn’t it be perfect to decant your favourite perfume into, or to display in a bathroom with some luxurious bath oil in. Priced at £18 this would be a very affordable gift. If you a have a chance and are a vintage lover please have a look at Velvet Ribbon site.
What would make me most happy on the 14th would be a cup of tea in bed and a little lie in!
So what would you love to receive this Valentine’s?
Thank you for reading

Well no pressure Tall Dad! I would love something like the welsh quilt, but as my dogs sit on me it would soon be wrecked!! Have a great week..

That is a beautiful quilt but as we have no money at all I would be happy with a snuggle on the sofa, a dvd and maybe some nice choccies to share 🙂

Sounds a great idea!

Love the quilt, but as our cat & dog sleep on our bed during the day, I’d be too scared to use it! I won’t be getting a lie in or cup of tea in bed, as Valentine’s day is on a weekday, so DH will be getting up at 5.30 to catch the train in to work.
Amanda (The Ana Mum Diary) says
I won’t be getting one either, I fear… i know it sounds daft but I have requested some Loveheart sweets today (they were on our wedding cake) and they are my favourite.

I think my favourite is the quilt. Although I’d be amazed if my husband was intuitive enough to buy something like that for me. He’s good at gift buying, but not that good.
Amanda (The Ana Mum Diary) says
I would be astounded too if my OH bought it….but you never know 😉
Liz Burton says
That quilt is to die for!!
You’d better be extra nice to Tall Dad ;0)
