I have amended, as I was too exhausted yesterday, once I’d gotten back from Blog Camp UK. It was a great day, met up with lots of people who I have been chatting with for such a long time. It’s made me again think about the different relationships that we build in the blogging world. Whether it be from twitter interactions, or from commenting on one another’s blogs. Quite incredible the strong connections I have made. There were so many, I have never met before, and yet I felt I’ve known them for years.
Jamie’s Kitchen
We went to Jamie’s kitchen, lovely food, apart from mine which tasted really sweet and not to my taste.
This is Miss N’s Sliders, a shake me up salad and polenta chips.
Hear Me Roar
Not a great photograph, but we had a lovely afternoon together at the cinema. Spotted this poster, so grabbed the opportunity.
A Break In the Rain
A break in the rain and we dash out to scoot. Micro Scooters are speedy!
Here is my favourite shot of the week though:
Reflections in Puddles
Not sure why I like this photograph the most, but it truly reflects (get it 😉 sorry!) the week! Rain…..rain and more rain!
Laughter
All smudgy and not in focus, but I like this about it. She was wiggling and laughing so much I couldn’t focus quick enough!
Sky Mirror
A night capture of this stunning sculpture by Anish Kapoor. It is situated outside Nottingham Playhouse, the centrepiece to the theatre forecourt area. If you look REALLY closely you can see a tiny figure in the centre, that’s me!
I had been out with my BF Claire to watch Hormonal Housewives. We went to a great new bar called Browns nearby, really want to have a meal there soon, it has a great relaxed atmosphere.
Scrap Sculpture
Whilst I was at blog camp yesterday, I took a photograph of this, there were a few of them hanging from the ceiling. This one looked like the African continent from a distance.
