We were asked to test a teen deodorant, that is sold on The Green People site. Miss N, was eager to try it, as she has been wearing deodorant for over 6 months now. We are both really interested in green products, as well as using products that in our opinion are not going to harm our skin.

Miss N’s (10) first reaction was that it smelled very different to any deodorant that she had used before. At first she wasn’t sure about this, but once she had been wearing it for a few days, she realised that she preferred it, and didn’t miss the overly perfumed smell that she had gotten used to with her usual brand.  The smell is unusual for a deodorant, it smells good enough to eat! It is a lovely scent of vanilla and oranges, but not overly sweet-smelling, really very nice indeed.

So the most important part in the testing was did it work?

Yes we can both confirm it did!  Once she had showered, she applied it and the OY! deodorant dried quickly, wasn’t sticky, and kept her dry throughout the day. So we have success! She has been using it for over three weeks and it has not caused any irritation to her young skin, which makes me very happy.

It’s so gentle, that according to the site that you can even use it on sweaty palms and smelly feet!

We are very impressed, and can’t wait not to try more of the products on the Green People site.
