PaddlePak Killer Whale : Trunki £29.99

Firstly let me apologise for using photographs from the Trunki site.  I love to take photographs of Miss A and N, using the products that we review, but this one seems particularly difficult to photograph and do it justice.

The PaddlePak is a water resistant backpack. It is fairly compact, and ideal I would say for  children 4+ in terms of size and design.

It is water resistant, and believe me with the weather we have been having in the Midlands recently, we have definitely been putting that to the test.

The top of the bag, is particularly nifty, using the same method as adult outdoor bags use.  You roll the top over three times, before clipping it neatly in place with the safety buckle.  This is at the ‘mouth’ of the whale, which both of my girls found so funny.  When I was encouraging Miss N to pack some things away in there (she was going to someone’s house) she loved that she was ‘feeding’ the whale her toys.

The backpack itself is extremely light weight, before use,

which is a very big tick. Definitely big enough though to fit a towel and swimming things,snacks or a lunch box.   Perfect for a school trip, or even camping and festival for their personal bits and bobs.

We also loved that the tail fin, has a small purse like area, perfect for hiding valuables in, or sweets. 🙂

As I have come to expect with all of the Trunki products, it is well made and of high quality.  Its little things like the seams and the zips that really make all the difference.  They are made to last in my opinion. Another fantastic product Trunki, thank you!
