I do love Mondays, I really do. Yes, the weekend is over but there is a whole new exciting week ahead of you. I honestly think you need to (try to) embrace it. Give yourself a shake and move forward. Who knows what the week will hold.
Each Monday I write a post, that includes some of the things that we love at The Ana Mum Diary. I am trying, to help get rid the Monday blues, with beautiful things. I will virtual shop for your every need. Perhaps introducing you to something that you may have not seen or been to before. You are in good hands, so sit back and grab yourself a cuppa.
This week I wanted to share with you, the next stage of my living room makeover and a gorgeous online shop called The White Approach.
I had been looking for such a long time for suitable storage ideas for toys in the living room, but really struggled to find a solution. When Karen, of The White Approach tweeted a link to her very stylish, reloved and vintage homewares and furniture shop. She had the perfect solution, and best of all she had two of them!
The two Fortnam and Mason hampers are now suitably filled with toys, and the perfect size. I have thinned out Miss A’s toys, but now I can very easily rotate them. I couldn’t be happier, thank you Karen!
I highly recommend her shop, its has some really gorgeous pieces in it. I am currently lusting over this 1930’s glass tea set. It is just beautiful, so delicate.
And how about the french vintage illustration, I’m actually apprehensive putting this up on the blog, just in case someone buys it before I have saved up for it, but I’m sharing the love.
I also have good news if you live in the Devon, Exeter area. You can visit and purchase some lovely items from The White Approach at The Vintage Trading company, follow this link to their Facebook page for more details.
Disclosure: I was not paid in anyway to write this, I just wanted to share.
Thank you for reading

Love them! I have a huge IKEA one which started as a toy box and is now my hobby box. You are right, works so well for rotating things as you can do the straps up to keep little hands out. And looks fab. Can’t wait to move and put my house in order!

Ohh a hobby box, I have one of those too….but its being taken over with the kids craft stuff 🙁

I have such an addiction to baskets, cant resist them if I spot one while I’m out & about x

I love them too, especially when they are a lovely mellow colour. They are always really expensive round here though. I’m on the look out for a cookery basket, for Miss N next year, I remember I loved mine at school.

I must admit, I could actually do with some more, for some other storage. So much nicer than awful plastic storage! Karen is a VERy gorgeous lady!!

They are lovely, and much more attractive than toys! I have a thing for vintage fishing creels as storage. (Once they’ve been thoroughly scrubbed and washed in hot water in the shower!)

Great idea for storage – liking that idea a lot!

oh my life ! Thank you so much for such a wonderful blog post Amanda I am so thrilled with your mention. So sorry I didn’t see it sooner, madly rushing around vintage fairs at the moment. The website is a little bare at the moment as most of the stock is in the shop.
A lovely, lovely post and a great, stylish use of the hampers xxx

Very stylish storage! And you’ll be able to use those hampers for other things when the toys are outgrown.
