Yesterday I was in London again, just a quick, but really enjoyable trip. I didn’t have any chance to do anything other than my meeting with Visit Orlando. it was great though, as I got to chat lots, about one of my favourite places to Holiday…Orlando! I had a mini manicure and hand massage and a really delicious lunch. I may have had a glass of Prosecco too, happy days.
Before I arrived for my meeting, I passed a Gourmet Burger Kitchen bus, which was set up in Covent Garden. It was 10.30 in the morning, and the queues were huge, and I mean HUGE. Once I investigated, I realised they were not only giving out free cheeseburgers, but they were served by Peter Gordon, a famous Kiwi chef and The All Blacks team. They gave away over 300 burgers, what a great idea!

I then found the office where my meeting was being held, really quickly. I am a little shocked how easy I find it now to get in and around London. I used to panic at the thought, but now I love it so much. I even enjoy the Underground, honestly I do. I get a thrill working out which line I need to be on, and what the quickest route is to get in.
The office, was a little walk from Covent Garden, I passed newly decorated shops and tiny cafes, that had finished their early morning rush, and were empty again.
We spent some time talking about the Visit Orlando trip planner, which looks fantastic, and such a great idea, to have it all in one place like this. I have visited Orlando several times now, and it is ever-changing and evolving, but full of firm favourites too. It was great to hear of ideas that I have never done, as well new things that are on the horizon for Orlando.
It was a bit of a race to get back to the train station but I managed it. At one point I passed a huge group of tourists with suitcases, it felt like they were willing me to miss my train. Navigating people who walk on mass with wheely bags, like dogs, snapping at their heels, as they pulled them over the cobbles in the streets, it looked kind of comical.
I also wanted to share with you the bag that I took, my new Satchel from Hush Hush. It’s the first time I had used it. Its gorgeous isn’t it?
It’s a Zatchel satchel, in brown and cream leather, such great quality. The leather is much softer on it than my Cambridge satchel.
I’m very lucky I can go on trips like this, my Mum helps me out by looking after Miss A and a friend brings Miss N home for me, and I am so grateful. It been a hard and busy week, and I’m so ready for this weekend. I’m off to have another glass of prosecco.
I hope you all have a good one, and thank you for reading
