Can you tell I’m just a little bit obsessed with looking at window dressings at the moment?
Well I am, but then I’ve always loved the planning and researching that goes with making home improvements. Whether that’s window shopping or browsing the internet.
There is something quintessentially English and classic about curtains, and I have always loved them. They make me think of summer days, and the cool breeze wafting through them, as I sip a glass of chilled Prosecco…a girl can dream can’t she?
This was my imaginings though as I browsed the Curtains by Tuiss, site. They have patterns inspired by the English summer country garden, as in the above image, that I absolutely love. How great would these look in a room that you need to inject a little shabby chic into. They come as either pencil pleats, or with eyelets, for a modern spin on the classic curtain.
Perhaps the more likely scenario in the UK is an alternative one, that’s not so shabby. Thick luxurious fabric, in rich opulent colours. Drawn tightly, so no drafts. A real fire and a blanket to snuggle up to, with the hubby of course.
So which scenario do you prefer, summer dreams, or winter warmers?
Thank you for reading

Indeed, there is no easy task when it comes to home improvement. Everything should be considered and must be chosen very well because it can make or break the entire beauty of a home. No matter how small the detail is, right effort and knowledge should be given to make it a success.
