Today I would like to introduce you to a gorgeous company, that sells amazing girls dresses. I Love Bread and Jam is a small but perfectly formed company based in Oxfordshire, that is the creation of Sofia Dyson, who has two beautiful girls, just like me! Each season they make one style of dress, but in a whole collection of retro inspired fabrics. Bread and Jam’s dresses are very limited editions, full of style, colour and just the right amount of humour to boot. The dresses are 100% cotton, and are made in Wales.
I’m going to pick out a couple of my favourites from the just launched spring, summer 2013 range. This season it is the turn of the Runaway Dress (£29) available in sizes 2-10 years old. It is a A-Line dress, with a large pocket at the front, trimmed in a contrasting fabric.
First up is Barbecue Queen :
I just love this Sputnik like design on the fabric. I can imagine in the barbecue season that it would be a firm favourite. Or when it get a little chillier, with leggings and a long-sleeved top underneath, it’s a great colour-way too.You can see what I mean about the humour now, can’t you?
With such a limited run on each of the size dresses each season, you are also almost guaranteed, not to see another one as well.
Next up Plain Sailing :
I choose this because, it was so pretty, both with the use of fabric design and colour. Bread and Jam dresses are just timeless classic designs, I think. They are given a retro twist with the fabric choices, and a modern one, with the humour that is used.
Now, if you would like to have the chance of winning your very own Bread and Jam Dress, watch this space, as this afternoon I am hosting a competition to do just that. Miss A has also had the pleasure of reviewing a Bread and Jam dress. Hold onto your hats, it’s a beauty!
Just in case you are new to this blog, this is a feature I write once a week, that includes some of the things that we love at The Ana Mum Diary. I am trying to help rid the Monday blues with beautiful things. I will virtual shop for your every need. Perhaps introducing you to something that you may have not seen or been to before. A must see site or new idea that I want to share with you. You are in good hands, so sit back and grab yourself a cuppa.
