I’m not a fan of our en-suite, I really wish it was big enough for a bath, to relax in. Well as I have been scanning the internet looking for alternatives, I came this world first from Bathstore. They have come up with the perfect solution for small spaces, as it is the same size as a basic shower base.

The revolutionary Vertical Bath™. It is so hot off the press they are not even in stores, you will need to wait until the end of April to order yours though.

The water slowly and gently fills with warm water from the base up. I love the design of the Vertical Bath™ too, modern take of claw foot bath and a great idea to marry tradition and modern day technology.

Chief Bathstore developer Dr Nisan Aptal said

“We all like a good soak, but with modern living spaces getting smaller and smaller we wanted to find a way to still ensure you could fit a bath in even the tiniest bathroom.

“Once we had the basic design down we tested a series of prototypes and eventually struck on the idea of including air-holes at head-height. We still don’t recommend adding bubbles; it can get very foamy in there.”

It seems that there is also a function to quickly drain the water, so you are not waiting for it to empty either…a great idea! My only concern is that you can’t use bubble bath, however this is a small price to pay, to get what you really want for a small space. Its a bathing revolution!
