This post is brought to you in collaboration with Thomson Al Fresco
I really hope you are all enjoying the spell of warmer weather. We are, and have been spending the afternoon at the park, or in the garden pure bliss! I think as soon as the warmer weather arrives, it makes me think, even more about where we would like to go on holiday this summer. I love the idea, that for our next holiday we will embrace the outdoors. That’s why I have been considering a family holiday in Europe with Thomson Al Fresco.
I am by no means a camper, I like my luxuries far to much to consider a tent for two weeks. This however seems to offer, outdoor living but in real style. Thomson Alfresco have what are classed as mobile homes, with either two or three bedrooms they have air-conditioning, decking, kitchen, toilet and power showers, all under the one roof. That’s my kind of camping!
There are 57 parcs to choose from, all around Europe. Each of the parcs, are either near the beach or have swimming pools. The majority also have water complexes with tropical pools and slides, Miss N & A my daughter would love this in particular I also love that there are so many things for the children to do to. With kids clubs and activities, all the way up to the teenagers, so everyone is happy.
Fun for all the family is also encouraged, with ‘Family Fun’ games. Its sounds like such a fab idea to get the whole family involved in lots of traditional summer fete games, like the tug of war, and the three legged race. I can imagine this would be such a funny but memorable kind of event.
Finally (and it could be argued most importantly) there is the price. You pay for the mobile home, and parc that you choose, all in one price, so one price per family. You can bring everything else with you, like food and toys in the car, if you choose to use the Ferry.
Overall, I love the sound of the Thomson Al Fresco, I think it offers great flexibility and is suitable for families of all ages.
