I love doing posts about my newest Glossybox, but I have resisted doing them lately. I thought as this was the birthday edition, I would do a quick post, with my thoughts.
May Glossybox 2013
For me, its been rare that I receive a box, I haven’t liked. I think I have been signed up for well over a year, and had only one box, that I was disappointed with. It was purely because they weren’t products I would use, but that meant I could give the box as a gift to someone I knew would love it!
So what did I think of this months?
Well its another LOVE box for me. Going through the products, I would definitely try all of them. I am most intrigued by the tiny pot at the front of the picture which is a prime and create mixing medium by Beautiful Moments Cosmetics, which basically means you can add it to a powdered cosmetic to create a liquid one. It can also be also as a primer. It is just the kind of product I think that really works in a glossybox, it gives the user the ability to experiment with something completely new.
I also received :
Givenchy Perfume Dahlia Noir L’eau : It smell divine, I can’t wait to use this. It smells of roses and peonies.
My Trusty Little Sunflower Cream : A daily moisturiser, I received the unscented version. A new one on me, it was developed by Salisbury District Hospital for patients recovering from burns and plastic surgery, any profits going straight back into patient care.
Caudalie Devine Oil : for body, face and hair. I love hair oils, so this is going to be another great one to use, I also love the idea of using it in the bath too.
Headline Colour : Nail varnish, this is a great colour for me, perfect for toes as I don’t wear polish on my hands.
There was also a Glossybox set of handbag nail files, which are a great idea, and a little bar of Green and Blacks chocolate…mmmm my favourite!
So all in all I’m impressed. Happy Birthday Glossybox!
