Vileda

 

I’ve had a cleaning day today, sorting this morning, having filled a couple of charity bags, and a bag for the rubbish the house is looking almost tidy. Then this afternoon, I have been giving everywhere a spring clean, can you call it that in summer?

I had been sent some Vileda products to test out, so this was the perfect opportunity.

First up was cleaning the windows…a job I really don’t enjoy.

I was sent this as well as 2 refill heads. It is designed to be time-saving, as the bottom of the unit, can be filled with spray, and you can spray it whilst cleaning.  I didn’t have the Vileda 1 2 cleaning chemical that they recommended so I used my usual glass cleaner.  It was fairly easy to use.  I’m pleased I was sent additional cloths, as doing the whole house, I definitely needed all three.  The refills are washable, which is great. I like the ability to angle the head whilst cleaning, and that it was pointed, so it reached corners.  I didn’t however like how easy it was to unscrew the handle that contains the fluid. Maybe I was using it to vigorously, but it unscrewed a couple of times.

Vileda Dish Cloths

I have a dishwasher, so decided I would use these to polish all of the kitchen surfaces.  I have granite work surfaces, and they can be tricky to clean, as the surface is highly polished, and has a tendency to go streaky.  These cloths were brilliant, and again they the are reusable, as I popped them in the wash afterwards.

Vileda Soft Dust Cloth

I have a selection of microfibre cloths, I find them excellent on polished surfaces.  I tried this cloth on my polished wood bedroom furniture.  They promise to pick up up to 40% more dust, for this you have to dry dust, something I don’t usually do…it works! You can wash the cloth to reuse again as well.

Vileda Sunsplash

Style Sunsplash All Purpose Cloth is made from a special blend of fibres, which makes it  super absorbent, but also makes it extra durable. Sunsplash Cloth is ideal to use wet or dry on all surfaces, so I used it to mob up a spill and it was fab, again it is washable and reuseable.

Overall, I thought all of the Vileda products worked brilliantly, I think my only problem, is remembering what they all do!
