I sit here on Sunday evening, in the comfort of my home, but with yearning to be at Glastonbury as Mumford and Sons are about to go on stage and close the festival.
So it got me to thinking about camping and festivals. What new products or ranges are on the market, for this weeks I love Mondays. I always like to have a bit of design twist on my weekly feature, and I was very impressed with the twist that Olpro have put on this new camping gear.
Great colours, and a little bit of cheeky element, with the tents, badgers and trees as part of the design. The range includes melamine eating and drinking sets, sleeping bags and windbreakers. Even matching coloured tents….three different sizes that sleep 3, 6 or 8 people, for the most discerning of glampers. They have been featured as the tops tents of 2013 in the Independent, and so waterproof, you could put them up in 5 metres of water!
I have never been to a festival, even though as a family we all love music, so I have sent myself a bit of a challenge that in the next year we will take the plunge and do a festival, and I very much hoping that we will be glamping and listening to Mumford and Sons.
