Moroccan Bazaar.
Moroccan Bazaar, is a 3rd generation, UK-based company, which was established in London in 1970, but actually goes further back than this. They supply (shipping worldwide) gorgeous Moroccan home furnishings.
So what has caught my eye on the site?
Sumptuous sets of jewel like Moroccan tea glasses. I absolutely love these, and think they would be perfect to add a splash of colour to the dinner table. I also think these would be great to use as wine glasses, I love wine glasses without a stem, far cooler I think.
I remember first seeing glasses like these many years ago, on a TV programme, and I have always wanting a set. I think the multicoloured packs at £16.50 are great value for money too, but you can also buy them in a single colour.
Next up lighting, another famed Moroccan style :
This amazing and intricate Moroccan wall light above. Made of antique brass this lamp was apparently inspired from the wall lamps of ancients palaces in Morocco. Priced at £355, it’s an investment, but would really give a room a truly authentic look.
Or how about this Morrocan Floor Lantern :
I just love the colours and shapes this lantern would give off. Priced at £95. There are many lighting options to choose from on the Moroccan Bazaar site, a really good starting point I think, when wanting to add this kind of theme to a room.
Finally a leather pouffe. We were lucky enough to be given one to review, and I choose this one, in a pale blue for Miss N’s room.
It gorgeous, and perfect for Miss N, as we really needed some additional seating for her friends. Her bed is a daybed, so she can use it as a foot rest too.
