Miss A, has a new best friend. One that she has declared, will be her friend forever, and ever! She arrived a couple of days ago, and the pair of them have been absolutely inseparable.
Petalina offered to Miss A the chance to have a doll of her own. I knew she would love one, but I didn’t quite grasp just how amazing these dolls are. It was a careful selection process, there are so many dolls available on the site, and the choice is vast. The dolls have different colour eyes, hair and skin, and are suitable for very different ages. They have different clothing, and the dolls themselves, depict children of very different ages too. We were looking at one, that was slightly too old for Miss A, but were advised that a soft bodied doll, with easier to look after hair would be better. They were definitely right, there is a handy buyers guide on the site, if you need more information.
Miss A has decided to call her Annalise, as she reminds her of someone she knows with the same name. She has a very pretty face, and eyes that close completely when she is flat. As I mentioned her body is soft, which is perfect, as Miss A (who is 4) is really at the stage where she likes to cuddle and take her to bed with her. Her blue dress is so lovely, her red headband matches the bottom trim of the dress. She has lovely silver shoes, which she thought was perfect, as strangely I have just bought Miss A some silver shoes too!
It’s actually very hard to try to convey just have gorgeous this doll is. The quality and the attention to details is amazing. Even unpacking the dolls was easy, no scissors or frustration, and we all know how annoying they usually are. It is even delicately scented with vanilla! I think this is the perfect gift that a parent or grandparent would buy for their child, as it just feels so special, something she will keep forever.
We have already been looking at the Petalina site again, and they also have a great selection of additional outfits, furniture and prams. Looks like we are starting Miss A’s Christmas list early this year!
There is another little girl enjoying cuddles from a special doll, on this post from Emma and Three.
