Those were the words that my daughter said with a sigh as we left Dorset on Monday afternoon. We had a lovely time, making new friends, and meeting with some really great old friends.
We even managed to fit in a trip to Lyme Regis, to meet up with the very gorgeous Molly. Visiting a fab place The Town Mill Bakery for lunch – If you are there this summer, I urge you to seek it out!
We were in Dorset, Martinstown for a wedding, that Tall Dad was very honoured to be asked to be Best Man for. It was a glorious setting, at the Brides, parents house. You could literally see for miles across the countryside, and the view was something to be envied….as was the vineyard!
The Bride looked just beautiful, and the Groom… well he scrubbed up well too! ( sorry Mr Bunting 😉 )
I love a good wedding, and sometimes its important to be reminded of your family and friends and what its all really about, don’t you think?
Thank you for reading
Lovely to hear that you have been having fun and enjoying the Summer hols – family and fun is what it’s all about isn’t it? x
Exactly Annie 🙂 hope you are having a fun summer too!
What great favours – I do love a good wedding! Reminds me, my two were given sticks of rock recently and didn’t have a clue what they were – poor deprived expat children! 😀
Lovely favours! Simple and sweet
I am so glad your daughter had such a lovely time – it’s nice when that happens isn’t it.
I used to love going to Dorset growing up and Lyme Regis in particular is a place I have fond memories of.
OOh Martinstown is just up the road from me- I do feel lucky to live somewhere so beautiful. I adore those place settings!
Lovely favours, we had a lovely time in Dorset at Camp Bestival, sadly we couldn’t stay longer to explore, next year!
