This year, Tall Dad and I went to Camp Bestival for a day, with some really good friends. We didn’t camp, as I’m not really into the whole camping thing, but I’ve got to say we went away thinking we not only want to come back for the full three days with the girls, but that we’d give (posh) camping a go too. I’m really not sure if it was all the sun that went to my head, but the fact I left feeling like that even surprised me!
I thought I would share some of my photographs with you, over a couple of posts, as we had such a great time. We only went for one day, and I’ve never been before, or really to any festival, so I haven’t got anything to compare it to. Overall though I was amazed at what a fun chilled out event it was. So much to see and do and everyone was incredibly friendly. I ate some great veggie food, and of course sampled the local cider, and saw some great bands, so here goes :
This is where we parked…always good to take a photo so you remember…ha!
Postcard for the girls…
The Bollywood tent was brilliant…and very loud!
I loved the plastic palm trees
Such a cool chandelier
I had no idea you could get married in a bouncy castle church there, even with its own DJ. I am so doing this next year!
Not bad, wish I’d have brought mine with me though…
So many gorgeous flags everywhere….
So this was the first half of the photographs, there a few more that I’m going to be showing you tomorrow of our trip to Camp Bestival 2015.
