Another summer has ended, and its funny how Miss A (4) now knows that as the new school term has started the next big event on our calender is Halloween. We are a house that loves Halloween. I’m not so into the whole trick or treating bit, though the girls love it. I love dressing up, playing silly games and decorating the house. I have two boxes of fantastic decorations I have collected and added to over the years. I’m not sure I’ll want to add these new Halloween candles, I love the smells so much, they are being burnt from now on!
Candy Corn – Yankee Candle : £16.99
First up is the bright orange Candy Corn candle, which is sitting in our kitchen. This is a very sweet smelling candle, that I knew I’d smelt before but couldn’t place it. Miss N (11) my Bath and Body works obsessed eldest daughter, then reminded me, that last year we had bought some items in this fragrance in America. It is not as sweet smelling once it is lit, but definitely reminds me of sugary Halloween sweets and candy. It is a medium jar Halloween candle and provides 65 to 90 hours of burning.
Witches Brew – Yankee Candle : £16.99
Next the black and white witches brew, a fantastic ghoulish glass jar! This definitely has a very distinct fragrance….
The spicy sweet aroma of exotic patchouli casts a captivating spell!
This have have placed on my fireplace, and burnt in the evenings, a very deliciously warming aroma, definitely my favourite. It also burns for 65 to 90 hours, I will be very sad when this runs out.
Of course, as with all Yankee candles you can purchase them in different sizes too, such as the sampler and the wax tart for the potpourri warmer.
The final candle in the range so far is the Happy Halloween, which Penny from the Alexander residence has reviewed. I must admit I didnt see this one at first, and the thought of a liqurice scented candle sounds devine!
OFFER: There is a offer currently on the Yankee Candle site, that if you purchase both of the candle I reviewed, you can do so for the reduced price of £30
