This weeks snapshot comes to you, after a long hard week. I needed a debrief, match sticks for my eyes, I needed a proper natter with friends and to de-stress. That exactly what I got, with a little crochet thrown in too!
Caffé Cagliari:
Making Time :
I love a cup of coffee, I don’t go a day without one. So trying out Caffè Cagliari for the first time was a real treat. I went for a expresso elite. It was delicious, very easy to drink, and didn’t have a lingering after taste, or make me dither like some brands espresso’s do. It also made me want an Nespresso machine, not sure why I haven’t got one with all of my kitchen gadgets really.
I like using brands that have a story and tradition behind them, and Caffè Cagliari has definitely got that in spades. The Italian company has been around for over 100 years and The great grand-daughter of the founder Alessandra Cagliari runs it now, so it is a real family business with over 100 years of Italian heritage. It turns out that not only does it taste great, its works out only 30p per cup too
“Every single cup is an exquisite masterpiece, the result of more than 100 years of knowledge and tradition.”
In over 100 years of activity, Caffè Cagliari has focused its efforts on the production of Espresso coffee blends of constant and refined quality, endeavouring to improve the production process from raw coffee to the cup, and placing the same level of concentration on all phases: from processing (roasting, blending, packaging) to commercialisation, and to the extraction of espresso coffee.

I love the colours you chose for the crochet, meant to ask, where are you getting the wool, is it that shop in town?
Amanda Cottingham says
Yes, its just closed down though Penny. She didn’t have new premises the last time I spoke to her. Its Debbie Bliss though, so its in John Lewis I think.
