I was away last weekend, and needed to look bright eyed AND bushy tailed. So I was experimenting with my two new little eye helpers. They created a bright summer look, that took me from day to evening.
On the left is Origins GinZing Brightening cream eye shadow (£17) in Vanilla Vroom
It can be used across the whole of the lid. I found it easier to use with a brush rather than a finger, as it easier to blend that way. It was a great primer, and my eye shadow stayed put, even though I was very warm, all the way into the evening. It really evened out my skin tone, and darker shadows at the corner of my eyes.
I teamed this with (on the right) a warm golden eye shadow Peeper Pleaser™ Powder eye shadow (£15) in Golden Ticket. Apply from the centre to the outer corner of the lid, I went slightly over the socket line, so you could see the gold even with my eyes open. Its such a warm colour, and highly pigmented. You could also add a little of GinZing™ Brightening cream eye shadow (£17) in Sugar Peach to the very inner corner of your eye, I don’t have this, so I added a similar powder one that I own from Chanel. This will open up the eye area and add a touch of soft shimmer.
