I don’t know if you remember, but I wrote a post, about the travelling with children, and within it I talked about stationery ideas, including travel journals. You can read that post HERE. Well this summer we are doing this slightly different, as we aren’t travelling a great distance, as we’ll be holidaying in the UK. However we will still be doing lots of writing, colouring and craft, so here (thanks to Stuck on You) is what my youngest daughter will be using :
A huge pencil-case, filled to the brim with personalised goodies. It called Tools for School (£22.99) on the site, all the details and items are listed below, and all come personalised.
I love the size of the pencil-case, it stays flat, and not bulky, even with all of these items in it. It would work well in a school bag, or back pack, if you wanted to keep it with you to keep the children entertained whilst you are out and about. There were lots of designs/emblems to choose from, as well as the name that you can add. Miss A has had a thing about horses ever since our visit to Center Parcs, so I went for this pony design, which you can see on the bag, ruler etc.
Pack includes
1 x Large Pocket Pencil Case – 225 x 330mm
12 x Coloured pencils
10 x Coloured dual tip markers
2 x HB pencils
1 Ruler, Sharpener Scissors and Eraser
All personalised.
We also ordered a journal (£15.99) which we will use over the summer, to practise handwriting. It’s really well made, with her name on all of the pages each side. Children get a real kick out of seeing their name (so do I 😉 ) so I think this pack and journal is a great idea, as well as you knowing which pen is hers, when I find it on the floor!
We got the same ‘Tools for School’ pack for my eldest Nia – However I kept it plain, as she is 11. The journal again comes in lots of different designs. I thought this design would be a great for her to use at home for school homework.
Overall I was really impressed with all of the products, they arrived quickly, and well packaged. Perfect as a gift, or to use in the summer holidays as we have.
