I’m a IHG Rewards Club points millionaire, with the Intercontinental Hotels Group, it’s very exciting and you can read all about it so far HERE. I have lots of interesting things planned to do this summer with all of the points, I’m going to use them in as many different ways possible. Starting off this week with some retail therapy and some relaxing spa treatments.
Once you have opened an account, and started earning those points, it’s so easy to redeem them.
I ordered lots of different vouchers so we could have fun spending them on a girls shopping day. Everyone got a treat, well apart from Tall Dad, but his treat is that it didn’t cost a penny!
We redeemed some points for vouchers for Top Shop, John Lewis and Waterstones. They came within a couple of days, we were very impressed! Nia and I bought some clothes from Top Shop (you can also use the vouchers in places like Wallis, Top Man and Miss Selfridge and Dorothy Perkins) she even bought a little fish eye lens for her iPhone from there too.
I’ll be wearing the outfit I bought with my vouchers on my trip away this weekend with Tall Dad, also purchased with my reward points…more on that though once I return. We headed to John Lewis and bought Miss A some new patent shoes, socks, and some gym shoes for school. What girl doesn’t love new shoes!
Finally we headed to Waterstones, we were in there quite some time, our local Waterstones, is a great place with comfy seating, so you can peruse the books you want to buy. Nia had a list of books she needed for when she begins secondary school so we got those, as well a liberty print notebooks, top trumps, postcards and a fashion book.
We’d also redeemed our IHG club reward points for a restaurant voucher.
We had thought we could only redeem the voucher at Pizza Express, but when it came there were lots of other places….Jamie’s Italian, Cafe Rouge, Nando’s and Zizzi’s amongst them. We did use our voucher at Pizza Express in the end, the lure of the Babychino and the gorgeous Leggera Pizza was just too much of a temptation. We had a fabulous time, great service, and the food was super yummy!
We also ordered some SpaFinder vouchers, so later in the week myself and Nia could both enjoy a relaxing facial and manicure. Spafinder Wellness, is the world’s largest media, marketing and gifting company for the wellness/spa industry. With over 25 years of experience. Spa Finder vouchers can be redeemed at so many places. If you go on the site and enter your location it gives local suggestions. Or why not use them when you are taking a break or holiday? We decided on a local spa, we hadn’t used before, but had heard people rave about -The Beauty Temple in Nottingham. So we are now looking both relaxed and manicured, as well as well dressed thanks to IHG. Seriously I could get used to this millionaire lifestyle!
We are working with InterContinental Hotels to share our IHG Rewards Club experience. We have been given ONE MILLION Reward points and we are using them and writing about our experiences throughout summer.

What a fab girlie day you had. I loved going on these with my mum, so much fun. We always had the best of time and it looks like you’ve all been spoilt rotten too – just how it should be 🙂 x
