I went along on what must have been the hottest day of the year in July, to see the House of Fraser Christmas gift and decoration display in the heart of London. It seemed so out of context that day, as we were fanning ourselves in the heat. It was a great event though, and I’ve been going through some of my images over the weekend, and wanted to share with you some of the looks in Christmas decorations that I spotted whilst I was there.
First up was Frosty : Scandi gets a fun and friendly makeover with fabric decorations and painted wood for a retro playful look that the whole family will enjoy. I loved the camper-van baubles and snow globes, so sweet!
I especially loved the way House of Fraser added the Scandi look to the festive dinner table. It was very accessible, light, bright and fun.
The sheer sophistication and opulence though of the Black Magic look…oh my! Think the 1920’s and 30’s, cocktails and champagne, lots of moody blacks with golden highlights.
Perfect, if you want to give your home a luxe, decadent feel with black accents and beautiful metallic tones to really bring the glamour to your Christmas decor, this year.
Like a little sparkle and bling in your Christmas look? Then the High Society might be the one for you :
Sophistication and feminine elegance is key to this look. Think silver, shimmer, sparkle, with pearls and vintage-inspired accessories.
Finally Enchanted Forest : A natural look with pinecones and wicker. Taking its inspiration from nature it has lovely woodland touches to create a magical setting in your Home.
I think I like Black Magic look the most, which is your favourite?

Ooooh I really like high society! I was looking to change the Browns without starting from scratch! This way I can keep the gold, add a lighter clout and some bling!!! Perfect. Did you noticed it’s all reduced at House of Fraser too! Perfect xxx
