Well it’s the start of a brand new week, and that can mean only one thing on this blog. One of my favourite features, where I search out some gorgeous things for you, and the recently renamed I Love…
Today I have hunted out three things I wanted to show you, that I love, starting off with a gorgeous sofa – The Stockholm fabric sofa from FADS.
The green fabric, is the perfect shade I think for anyone wanting a pop of colour to brighten up a room, and has all of the retro styling, that I, and I know many of you absolutely love. One simple row at the back of buttons, keeps with the unfussy feel. On a practical side, I think the slope of the arms would mean that this sofa is a comfortable one to lounge on too!
Fads is a fantastic site that sells stylish and affordable contemporary furniture. Its been around since 1945 and prides itself in selling wallet friendly interior products, that are trend led. This sofa is currently on offer, and such a very good price at £404.99. Can you believe it, beautiful and affordable, they have me hooked!
Here are the sofa details:
- Available in 2 & 2.5 seater
- Green fabric upholstery
- Buttoned back rest
- Dark angled legs
- Ergonomical design for ultimate comfort
- Quirky retro shape
- 2 Seater Sofa: H 81cm x W 137cm x D 84cm
- 2.5 Seater Sofa: H 81cm x W 180cm x D 84cm
I also spotted that FADS are running a competition to win a £250 FADS voucher. All you have to do is create a beautiful Spring-inspired Pinterest board. HERE are all the details.
Now onto my next find : Mini Moderns (an interiors brand specialising in applied pattern) they have some amazing wallpapers, and some of my favourites would actually work brilliantly with the FADS sofa. First up is the Feathers design – £55 per roll, which is the third wallpaper design in the Mini Moderns ‘Hinterland’ collection. A collaboration between Mini Moderns and the amazing artist, Matt Sewell.
This design is based on Matt’s feather watercolour design. He painted these as the final and starting pages of his book ‘Our Songbirds’. Mini Moderns have taken these images, and made them different colourways. I think my favourite being this grey version.
It is Mini Moderns second collaboration with Rob. They only ever planned on this being made in three colours, but in the end it has been produced in four – Ink, Mustard, China Blue and Sage. I love that the colourway decision was made by the power of social media, as Rob’s facebook followers voted for their favourites. The wallpaper is printed with water-based inks on paper from sustainable forests.
So that’s all for this week, I’m off to do a research on Pinterest now, and see what else I can find.
