If you live in the Nottingham area and are looking to buy something unique, whether it’s a handmade gifts or cards, art work, something personalised or to just treat yourself after a hard week – that can’t be just me that does that, right? Then I can really recommend the Locally Produced For You shop in West Bridgford, Nottingham. It is jam-packed with items that are loving made by over 60 different makers and small businesses from around the UK. I was so pleased to see some my absolute favourite artists there, including local legend Helena Tyce!
Located on Central Avenue, you can reach the Locally Produced for You shop by walking through the Health Store and up the stairs at the rear of the shop. The Health Store is situated opposite Iceland and in-between SpecSavers and the new Cured restaurant.
Most exciting I think is that there are also lots of workshops and creative classes now available, and these are being added too all the time. I’ve listed below just some of the up and coming classes, but for more up to date information, then please visit the Locally Produced For You site where you can book classes for both adults and children, check out the opening times and get an idea of some of fantastic items that they sell.
