Long gone on the days when I could laze around having a long leisurely breakfast. In the week, we need to be ‘up ‘n at em’ in the morning. Blurry eyed as I always am, I tend to only make mine and the youngest breakfast in the week. I fumble around trying to appease her food demands, whilst gulping down a strong cuppa. In the faint hope that it brings me into the land of the living. The weekends are different though and we often hang around the kitchen cooking pancakes or the Tall fella’s favourite, his famous triple-decker sandwich, with a gallon of coffee.
Weekdays I’ve been trying out something a little different called TMRbox it’s a breakfast that is sent to you weekly all portioned up, and a different one to try everyday.
I need something nutritious and quick. so along with my trusty stash of almonds (so addictive) and of course a coffee, I’ve been trying the different flavour combinations.
I love being out and about at the weekend, and this Saturday the weather was gorgeous, so we spent most of it outdoors.
I’ve added a couple of succulents to my collection this Saturday, they were a bargain at the local village fête at £2!
I am loving this brick, what a great idea to use something like this to plant them in.
We’ve still got lots of planting left to do in the garden, I might next week do you guided tour in photographs of some of my favourite flowers and plants. Do you fancy seeing my garden? I’ve not really shown it too much on the blog.
Until next week, this was my Saturday Edit. Hope you have a great weekend.

Sounds like a great day. I was just commenting on another post about needing to own a succulent. Love the brick idea too

Oh, that brick! Sometimes you see an idea and you think: “Why didn’t I think of that!” So simple, yet so cool 😀
