Bagsy : NEW Beauty Brand

I think if you love make up, and a new beauty brand comes on the scene, it’s so exciting to get to be one of the first to try it.  Well that was the case with bagsy, as not only did I think the packaging was gorgeous, and who wouldn’t, but I loved using the make-up. 

Bagsy is a British born company and has been making make-up for many years for other global brands.  This new venture for themselves though is a small, affordable and in my eyes perfectly formed collection of make-up designed for your handbag.

I tried three of their lip colours and a bronzer.  From left to right :

Lip Cocoon : £7*

Raspberry Tinted sheer colour, lightly scented, it went on easily, it left my lips feeling soft, and not sticky at all.

Lip Velvet : £12*

Matt liquid sheer lipstick, that is very long-lasting.  This was a revelation to me, as it did stay put. In 03 Rush hour. I don’t usually like matt lip colour, but this had enough of a sheer feel that it didn’t feel matt really at all.

WOW Lips : £12*

I’m a lover of a lip crayon, as they are incredibly easy to apply, this didn’t let me down, you don’t even need a mirror. In 03 Ready to wear colour, perfect for a handbag and make-up on the go!

 

Finally :

Ray of Sunshine :£18*

In a blue drawstring pouch, and a built-in mirror, it would not be something that I would put in my handbag, but I don’t reapply things like blusher or bronzer.  I thought this was perfect for giving yourself a little helping hand on holiday though, and it would definitely have a place in my summer make-up bag. Colour shown is 01 light/medium. It felt natural with a warm pink undertone, which worked well with my colouring.

So overall, I love the new bagsy brand, the packing is so pretty, I think it looks and feels to apply like it costs a lot more than it does.
