Having just had a picnic in the beautiful grounds of Chatsworth house I think I really do understand how picnicware needs to work for the modern family. It should be portable, neat, washable and look stylish. Well I have just the product to share with you for this months Style challenge, and its called Combine.
It’s a complete picnic set that can be house all within one stackable unit, with a heat moulded silicon bag. Its so cool, I think I’ve got to have it!
On top of its stylish compact design its eco freindly too. Made from an amazing combination of products Bambootube (a multilaminate of bamboo) and a moldable biodegradable slurry composed of fibers of bamboo and rice hulls. The result feels like pottery to the touch.
The only problem I’ve found, is its so new I can’t find the price, or anywhere to buy it! I fell in love with it so much, I decided to still include it, and I will update this post if I find out anymore.
The Style Challenge is a group of 4 bloggers who with a different theme each month, try to out do one another in the style stakes. Of course I think I always win, but then that why its interesting to see how our different styles see the challenge very differently.
Here is this months selections so you can judge :

I love this set. I’ll check back in case you can find out where you can get this. I used to have something similar called an orikaso set. I took it with me when I went backpacking. It was really useful when we were eating on the move and super lightweight.
