As part of the changes for Nia’s bedroom makeover, one of the most important things was that she was fully wired for sound. It was a priority that she could easily play her spotify playlist and favourite radio stations in her room. She’s at the age where she spends an awful lot of time in there, doing homework, or with friends. Nia wanted a room, that was young, fun and had cool gadgets, if possible. I think the coolest device she has, is something that helps with that love of playing music…all the time, and its her Sengled Pulse LED lights and wireless speaker.
The pack we received had two lights, you can have up to 8 in one system playing at the same time though. One of those bulbs is the master, the other the satellite. We used one of the bulbs in Nia’s ceiling, the other in her anglepoise lamp. We choose the screw-in fitting ( which is the E27, E26 and B22 are also available) this is perfect for the lamp, however, we needed a extra piece to convert the ceiling light to a screw fitting. This we bought for just £1 though, and it means the lamp hangs slightly lower, but neatly from the ceiling. I think in future, it would be a good idea, if the company offer different combinations of fittings within one box.
It was so simple to use, easy to pair up to bluetooth using the app. The sound quality excellent. The bulbs did need to be synced together, but that didn’t take very long to do.

I thought it would make more sense to hear from Nia in this review, as she’s the one who has been using the Sengled Pulse.
‘I use these speakers all the time now, they are great to use every day and I love showing my friends them, and listening to music together. The sound quality is incredible. Having two speakers makes the sound a lot richer. You can alter the volume and brightness of the light on your phone, which is very handy. The set up was really simple, I simply had to connect to Bluetooth and download the app. I love then, so cool!’
Sengled Pulse is available to purchase HERE priced at 179.99 Euros, plus shipping. If I find a UK stockist, I will update this post.
