Today I am going to share with you a site called Lyst. Its based in London and New York and provides a shopping experience that is unique to every user. Its intelligent, so the more you use it, the more it tailors itself to you, which I think is such a cool idea. It learns your shopping habits and flag up things that you will love. You can make wish list, and plan your wardrobe, or capsule collections for a trip for example. If anything on your lyst is on sale you will receive an alert as well if it come back in stock.
I’ve lost a couple of hours browsing the site which has beautiful fashion for men and women, and from some brilliant established designers, for example Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana, Chloe and Isabel Marant. I wanted to concentrate today on what was on my Lyst, which is some truly beautiful dresses and shoes in three different styles perfect for the festive season and beyond.
I am a lover of the LBD (little black dress) and I think with a couple in your wardrobe, they can genuinely take you anywhere. Isn’t this Alice + Olivia rosy shirt dress just perfect? It’s a midi length with a delicate sheer mesh tulle skirt, embroidered in beads, glass pearls and crystals. I decided to team it up with these Dayna pumps from Sam Edelman with their criss-cross lace-up design. The detailing of gold tone and suede they are both elegant and graceful.
As well as the classic black dress, which has to be my personal favourite, I wanted to include this Temperley London clashing prints dress. With black floral and leopard Ikat print with a full, pleated skirt, I thought it would be a fun addition to anyone’s autumn winter wardrobe. I was going to add very plain heels, but I decided to dress this down with an open toed boot from Ash. I think this would make a winning edgy combo together.
Finally understated elegance with this AW15 Uptown Urchins embroidered Hannah Dress. Perfect to wear in the day or evening, it would take you anywhere I think. Embroidered organza gingham, with a high neck, long sleeves and a gathered skirt. I couldn’t resist this final dress being teemed up with a pair of Alina flats from Jimmy Choo. These shimmering metallic glitter lamé flats are on my wish lyst this Christmas!
