As a freelance blogger, its rare you get the chance to attend a Christmas party. I’ve actually been able to attend two this year. I organised a Nottingham blogger meal last month, which was such a fab evening. Even though we live close by there’s something so great about being able to meet up and really relax together.
Then I was lucky enough to be invited by two of my favourite organisations and companies (being HIBs100 and Homesense) and their Christmas shindig at Lost and Found in Birmingham.
You’ll already know what a huge fan I am of Homesense, having written about them so many times. Only last month I wrote THIS post and for the last two years I’ve been very proud to be involved in their Sport and Comic Relief campaigns HERE & HERE. It was a fantastic evening, very festive with friends old and new. We laughed a lot!
The event was spread over two rooms, and one room was filled will just a portion of all of the wonderful things that you could purchase in Homesense. If I’m looking to buy new table wear or drinks party items, its always the first place I head to. I love that the eclectic mix can accommodate lots of tastes. I’m all over metallic and sparkle this season and I know that Homesense has such a great selection. I fell in love with some of the copper and glass wear they had on display.
I’m never disappointed at the bargains I pick up (with up to 60% off) and I love that I can always pick up something that’s really quite unique. Because of all of the departments under one roof, I quite often pick up both Christmas presents and treat myself too….well it is Christmas after all!
Huge thanks to Homesense for inviting me, it was a fab evening, look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

Amanda, it was such a lovely night out, wasn’t it? We are so fortunate to have such a nice bunch of Blog mates in Nottingham and our blogger meal and fab night of chat and glitter at the HomeSense Party were a real treat and opportunity to catch up. Lost & Found was a lovely venue, too.
Next time I’ll bring some different sweets to share on the car journey home from Birmingham, instead of those awful ‘not very random’ ‘Randoms’ sweets! They were more like a bush-tucker trial than a sweet 😉
