*GIFTED*
I’ve been on the lookout for a new foundation for a while and I’ve been struggling if I’m honest. I wear foundation maybe twice a week, as I prefer day to day to just use my skincare and leave my skin naked. I think that’s mostly as I work from home though. However, when I wear foundation I want to feel polished and flawless but I don’t want it to feel like a mask. I know most people feel the same but it can be actually a hard balance to have coverage without being to heavy.
Up until around 5 years ago, I had never worn anything other than a little concealer. So what am I covering up? I thought it important to mention that as you may be looking for something to do the same. I have broken veins on both of my cheeks and feel my nose area has larger pores and is redish in the corners, I also feel my chin for some reason is a slightly uneven colour.
Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+
I’ve been trying out the Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ £31 and overall I am very impressed. I’m very pale but have quite a warm undertone, and struggle with shades. My favourite shade is ‘light‘ but I may buy ‘fair‘ for wintertime.
I would describe the Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream as a midway foundation so not matt or dewy it’s in-between the two. It’s got a lovely skin-like feel to it once applied. This is the IT Cosmetics #1 best-selling foundation, full coverage foundation and anti-ageing with SPF50 that brightens and hydrates while camouflaging skin imperfections. It also minimises the appearance of pores and gives an overall hydrated look to your skin. I love it!
Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush #7
Now I have a great foundation, that works well for my skin type I wanted to share with you another IT Cosmetic product that is infamous and it’s the double-ended complexion brush at £35.00. I don’t have anything like this brush and thats not just because it’s double-headed, which I’ve got to say is going to come in handy when I am travelling. The larger foundation brush is dense but still quite fluffy, so it makes it perfect for buffing the skin when using foundation. I use the smaller brush with a little more of the foundation on those areas around my nose that are red.
The only thing I can see that might be an issue is if you store your brushes in a jar. I do for most of mine but have a tendency to have a couple of my favourites in my makeup bag, so that’s what I’ve done with this. Just so the bristle don’t get distorted.

Hi Amanda,
This is exactly what I’m looking for right now! For years, I have been using Sephora products, but, I want to try something new and I’m reading a lot of reviews online. My skin’s sensitive and in as much as I want to use supermarket products because they’re cheaper, I don’t want to compromise my skin. After reading tons of reviews, I find your review of IT Cosmetics and I love it! Surely, you won’t recommend it if you don’t believe its quality – plus, your insights are personal. I’. so glad to stumble upon your post. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Cindy. Hope you enjoy the products. I’m in the US next month so I’ll be visiting Ulta and Sephora. Looking forward to it.
