Daniel Sandler A-R Foundation Primer – Kiss goodbye to unwanted redness with this cooling and calming primer £24.50
I’ve been testing out this green coloured primer from Daniel Sandler for the last couple of weeks and so wanted to report back how I feel about it. To give you a little background I’m 48, have a tendency for flushes (the awful age kind) and have a small amount redness all the time on my face overall but mostly my cheeks. It’s felt like the redness of my face is something I hadn’t even noticed it kind of crept up on me, and now it’s one of those things that I notice all of the time. I’ve not used a corrective product (well since the 90’s) until I tried this, and now I’m kicking myself that I haven’t.
The thing I like the most is the subtle colour correction this product has. Please don’t think that it will leave your skin green or even grey as I’ve seen others say happens with other brands of colour correctors. This is subtle but definitely effective. I’ve worn it on its own and loved the feel and look it left on my skin. The serum is lightweight and has light-reflecting particles too. It even has hyaluronic acid and calendula which protects and hydrates the skin.
To use under foundation I used a small pumps worth and applied on my face. I added a little extra to my cheeks which is where I can get extra red through the day. I made sure any excess I applied to my neck and jawline. I then added a little foundation as I usually would. It lasts all day for me and just took the edge of that rosy and blotchy look that I’m so embarrassed about. You can still see the tone of my skin, as I only wear a light foundation and the look was very natural, but better than it usually looks.
I would definitely recommend try this product out if you too suffer from redness, irritation or blotchiness on your face and neck.
