Today I am going to introduce to you ARRAN Sense of Scotland and their gorgeous home, bath and body care products. This brand is new to me, but is known for its premium quality bath, body and home fragrance collections. The products are inspired by and proudly made on the Isle of Arran. Its a very well established company, having family run for the last three decades. They have a range that is creating vibrant, evocative scents from their Home Farm factory – an old dairy farm for the historic Brodick Castle. The company has grown now from what was a small, family soap business, but has held true to its island origins.
The first product that I am sharing with you is the Eau de Parfum After the rain.
Inspired by our founders desire to capture the unique, fresh scent of an Arran garden following a rain storm, After the Rain is the most popular fragrance in Collections.
I’m a sucker for a great scent, and this is a fabulous one. It lasts really well on the skin, and I can still smell it when I get undressed in the evening on my clothing. Yes it has the fresh scent, but the sandalwood really gives it depth. It costs £50 for 50ml. I’d wear this in the spring or summer, as it reminds me of that time of year and rain showers.
Create an inviting aroma and spritz the air with the scent of this Arran Home Room Spray. A balanced blend of sweet cassis, fig and green leaf, underpinned by a warm basenote of woody cedar. Packaged in an Arran Home tin.
Are you a room spray fan? I know some people like candles, reed diffusers or incense sticks, well I am a fan of all of these things. I love, especially in the evening if I enter a room and I can smell a pleasant scent. Priced at £18 The Ultimate Fig Room Spray is a blend of sweet cassis, fig and green leaf, underpinned by a warm base note of woody cedar.
There are also many more products within the Arran range, and amongst them are lots of bath and shower products including shower gel, salt scrub and soap. I choose a selection of ones with different scents and they all very different, but all share the feeling of being luxurious. I think they would make really lovely gifts, with some flowers and maybe a bottle of someone’s favourite drink.
Or if you were curious about the range, Arran also do an Apothecary discovery set, which would also be perfect to take away for a weekend away. Perfectly packaged in smaller sizes, this I will be gifting to someone special.
