On 21 April 2012 (This Saturday) John Lewis Nottingham will open the latest official London 2012 Shop, with a special guest appearance by London 2012 mascot Wenlock.
This sounds like a fantastic event for all the family!
John Lewis Nottingham managing director Mark Lewis will join Wenlock (the London 2012 Olympic mascot), to officially open the 850 sq ft shop with a special ribbon cutting ceremony at 9.30am
The ground floor shop will showcase over 500 official London 2012 products, ranging from official mascot sticker sets to collectable commemorative coins and stamps.
Union flag themed products from London 2012 pin badges to biscuit tins and t-shirts are expected to be big sellers with shoppers across the country. Official London 2012 mascots, Wenlock and Mandeville souvenirs are also set to be popular, including plush toys, key rings, pin badges, bags, figurines and bookmarks. London 2012 products offer a vast range with something for everyone, from bedding to toy buses and from pens to calendars.
Shoppers will be given the opportunity to have a go on a specially designed pedal-powered Team GB Scalextric Velodrome set and enter a prize draw to win a set signed by British cyclist and London 2012 medal hopeful Lizzie Armitstead.

The London 2012 mascots will also be visiting Nottingham’s Victoria Centre to meet local children on its journey to London for this summer’s London 2012 Games. At intervals throughout the day, Wenlock and Mandeville will be meeting and greeting fans in the Upper Mall.
