When I was asked to involved in the Pin it Forward UK campaign, I was really honoured to be involved. Pinterest has been a love of mine since I first heard about it. If you haven’t used Pinterest before let me tell you a little more about it

What is Pinterest?
It’s like having a online scrapbook full of inspiration. It is a nifty tool for collecting and organising things that you fall in love with!
This can take the form of meaningful quotes, photographs of places you would like to visit, craft projects, even ideas for cooking on the BBQ over this bank holiday weekend.

I have used it in many ways, since I first started pinning. I was given a beautiful, butter soft, vintage leather jacket which had too many tears in to wear any longer, and I have spent many lovely hours looking up amazing craft projects to use up the leather. I also use it in my blog posts, both to inspire me , and as a reference point when I am writing. Pinterest has become integral to the way that I work.
If you feel the urge to try Pinterest (honestly you really must) I must put a proviso in that says it’s very addictive, there is so much valuable information, so many beautiful images, and inspiration that once tried it really is impossible to stop pinning.
As I mentioned, the way Pinterest works is it helps you organise your collection. So you start boards, like display folders, where you keep similar themed Pins all in one place. Here is one of my favourite boards, which gives me inspiration for my outside space : Ana Loves Outdoor Living, where all of the images I have used for this post have been taken from.
So if you would like to sign up to Pinterest, it’s really easy and you can do so here. Once there here is the link to my main page to follow all of my boards, so you can see what I am pinning too!
Well that’s all from me, apart from to introduce the next person in the Pin In Forward Campaign – Jennifer Howze. Jennifer is one of the founders of Brit Mums, which is Britain’s biggest collective of lifestyle bloggers and social influencers, where I am very proud to be a member. You can follow Britmums on pinterest here, the board covered tomorrow will be the fantastic collaborative Snap Happy Britmums board. If you would like to follow her own personal favourite board, here is the link to Jennifer’s travel board.
Thank you for reading

Great info. I have been loving Pinterest for quite some time. It is good fun and has been a lifesaver when I am unable to fall asleep in the evening. Pinning sends me off to dream land with lovely visuals and inspirational quotes dancing in my mind.
I have followed your boards ~ looking forward to pinning this evening.

Thanks for participating in Pin It Forward UK, Amanda! It’s great to hear that you have discovered crafting projects on Pinterest to use the leather from your jacket! Your Outdoor Living board is incredible- the concrete stepping stones that look like pillows are so neat! Lauren, Community Coordinator
