So after yesterdays post about my absolute favourite board on Pinterest – Ana Loves Outside Living, I have two follow-up posts. One is where I review an item from one of my pins. The second is where I try to achieve an improved outside living space on a (very small) budget.
I was delighted to receive one of the products I had pinned, on the Ana Love Outside Living boards to review. It was kindly sent from Find Me A Gift, which is a great site if you are looking for that elusive gift for someone!
We were sent something I have had my eye on, for the garden for a very long time. The Wigwam Kid’s Play Tent priced at £54.99
Its made of a strong and beautifully decorated thick canvas like material. Inside there are pockets that you need to slide the poles provided into. You then thread a string, and wooden balls through those poles, to secure them in place at the top.
When you are in the garden, it’s always good to have a den of some sort for the children, they also get chance to cool off from the heat too. We got lots of use out of wigwam this bank holiday. The beauty of this one is, its like a den, but we can so simply pick it up and store it away in the garage when not in use, or when the weather changes.
It arrived well packaged, and was simple to put up, the play tent measures 190 cm x 140 cm x 140 cm when erected. Quickly the girls added cushions and a blanket on the ground, so that they were comfy in there. Miss N (10) read Miss A (4) a story and they couldn’t be seen or heard, for quite some time, apart from the occasional giggle.
In fact Miss N loved the Wigwam so much, she declared she was sleeping in it last night. She managed until 8.45, then said her bedroom was missing her so she needed to sleep upstairs instead!
The wigwam, has been a real success and it was lovely to see the girls playing together over bank holiday in it. I can see its going to be a great asset to our outside space.
Thank you for reading

When I was a little girl, some friends had a wigwam and we used to spend hours playing in it. I have some very happy memories of the days spent playing in the wigwam. We had so much fun!

Awh, I would have loved a wigwam when I was growing up. I do remember playing cowboys and Indians with a broom handle as a pretend horse.
