So this is my final post (maybe not, but more on that later) about this summer and the fun we had when I was made a IHG rewards club millionaire. First up, I blogged about what the IHG rewards club is, I then took my daughters on a fantastic shopping spree.
Followed by a spa trip for my eldest daughter Nia. Tall Dad and I then took a trip to Amsterdam for a long weekend.
We enjoyed ourselves so much, I included another post, with even more photographs of what we did there.
So I used my million rewards points for flights, hotel stays, gift vouchers, and experiences, but there were so many other options available!
So in my final post, I wanted to tell you about the kind of merchandise you can use your rewards points for on the site. You can use your rewards to buy anything from magazine subscriptions, digital music and games to iPads and TV’s. There is so much choice. Items for the home like Le Creuset, Phillips kettles, and Kenwood Smoothie makers, to Hugo Boss watches and Samsonite Luggage. I deliberated for some time what we should use our points on, in the end we went for something that the whole family could use, and we ordered a silver Apple iPad Air 16GB for 317,000 points.
It arrived just a few days later, and we have been using it ever since.
We feel so lucky to have been chosen by InterContinental Hotels Group, to become Rewards points millionaires, our summer has been so much fun thanks to them. We made great memories, bought clothing and school supplies and visited somewhere we have always wanted to see. Now I do have a few points left, that I’m planning on using in September or October, when we have a little more time. I think we may have enough for a couple of nights in a hotel, so I was thinking Paris, as Neither Tall Dad or I have ever been. So watch this space, as I have very itchy feet and a yearning for more adventure!
