Age is just a number?
You will remember that I posted about Seven Seas Perfect7 supplement I had started taking over a month ago. When I first started taking the capsules, I was feeling particularly tired and run down, so trying them out, couldn’t have come at a better point for me. I am 40 *cough* something now and occasionally feel old age is creeping up on me. I am concerned that as a slightly older parent, with a 12 and a 5 year old, I really do owe it to myself and my children to keep as healthy as I can. So this really is why I agreed to try out Seven Seas Perfect7.
I’ve been given a three month trial to see what effect it would have, and to document any changes. After taking them for a more that a full month now, I thought I would update you.
Firstly here is a recap on the supplement.
Seven Seas have developed Perfect7 (one for men to take and one for women)- It is a unique blend of Omega-3 oils, vitamins and minerals, that they say support you by providing effective absorption of nutrients into your body’s cells.
It is said to help in these 7 areas:
Now January has seen me promising and failing to get more sleep, and trying to improve my diet and fitness. Now I am keeping very busy, with lots of fast walking, dog walks included, to get me out of breath, my diet in the last couple of weeks (since Christmas was over) has also improved. Generally I have a fairly good diet though, with lots of variety. I am vegetarian, so careful about what I eat. I’ve definitely not been using these supplements instead of living a healthy lifestyle, which is exactly as Seven Sea recommend. Also I really wanted to give this a good go, so I have been exclusively only using these and not taking any other supplements during the trial.
Now so far, I have seen small changes, the first of which is in my nails. As soon as winter arrives and the heating goes on more regularly, the first place I see it is in my nails and skin. My nails are fairly long, I don’t use varnish, but keep them neat and they are generally (in the summer time) strong. Since taking the supplements, I have definitely seen some improvement. I only have one broken nail (long story) but that was when I caught my finger when I fell down scooting the other day on the school run. So really it was more the fall that brittleness. This is significantly better that I usually fair by this time of year.
The second change (now I am aware this may just be because of trying to get extra sleep, and improving my diet and exercise) is that I seem to be more awake in the mornings, and more clear and energised..if that makes sense? Now as this is said to be one of the effect of the Perfect7 supplements, I am going with that taking them is also helping me.
I have another two months ahead of me to take them, so will definitely carry on, and I am optimistic that this is something that I will see more benefits from, and if this continues, I’ll definitely carry on taking the supplements.

Ohh I started taking these on Saturday….I’m interested to see how I fair with them.
I did wake up this morning and didn’t hit snooze on the alarm 3 times like I usually do…..Could be the tablets to thank but surely they don’t work this soon! Hmmm x
