I’m currently doing a makeover on my hallway, it’s still not completely finished but thought I would share with you the changes that I have made so far. As you walk through my front door I did have a very tired looking pine rectangular mirror, and on the left hand side of the wall, was the oak sideboard that you can see in the below photograph. It was filled with DVD’s and games, but we’ve moved those elsewhere, so it’s now where we store our shoes and boots. There is shelving in the cupboard which makes it perfect to fit lots in, and keeps the area looking tidy. I’m still debating whether to paint the sideboard, so I may do that at a later date.
The big change though is the gorgeous round mirror from Exclusive Mirrors that we added to replace the truly awful one that was there before. I have really fallen for it, and its fits in perfectly I think.
Can you spot me?
I styled up the sideboard and the hallway with some new framed art work, an arrow light, books as well as some postcards for the time being. I found a great welcome home print, that I’m going to put up. I have some more plans for the walls, and I’ve been researching different looks on my Hallway Pinterest board. If you are in need of some inspiration this would be a great place to start.

The vintage plate that you see hung up, is a sneeky peek at what’s to come. I also added this gorgeous bouquet of Mothers day flowers that I received from Debenhams. I love getting a flower delivery, and these were a really lovely addition to my makeover. With pink lilies, lavender coloured memory lane roses, bouvardia and eucalyptus foliage, they make a great display. Definitely a real treat, they are priced at £54.99, I wish they lasted forever. They arrived yesterday, so the lilies aren’t out yet, but I’ll take a photograph of them when they are.
Ohh and I have a discount code for 25% off if you too would like to order some : DFBLOG25
Can you spot the Yankee candle too? I did have a air freshner in the hallway, but I’ve decided that this lavender jar candle looks much nicer, and a more natural way to sweeten the air.
So that’s where I am with my hallway so far, next week will be the final reveal. In the mean time, I hope you have a lovely weekend!

Oh that mirror is beautiful! I have a bench in my hallway from decur.co.uk and it’s been a struggle finding a mirror or some wall décor that compliments the footstool without making the hallway cluttered, but your hallway has served for some much needed inspiration, thank you!
