I’ve actually written about this brand before when I reviewed some of their skincare range a few months ago. I’ve just run out of their serum, which I was really impressed with so I’m trying out a couple of the other products that they have, as well as a lipstick from the make-up range.
1. Signature Color Lipstick
This brand really does ooze quality, I’m not sure if I’ve ever tried a lipstick that had such gorgeous packaging. This dear readers feels more luxurious than my Chanel, seriously! It’s even got a cool way of opening, as you twist the gold case in the centre to release the lipstick, to make it pop out of the container.
I opted for a very different colour to my normal ones, I wanted to try a darker richer colour, as I’d recently darkened my hair. Artistry Shade 16, Velvet – £19.95. It glides on the lip, and there was no bleeding. It lasted fairly well, and felt moisturising when applied. It left a true vibrant and rich colour, not sheer at all, perfect if you are looking for a strong look. I would definitely buy this brand again.
2. Youth Xtend – Serum Concentrate £75.85
I am a big believer in wearing serum. I actually think it keeps my face feeling moisturised longer throughout the day, than if I just wore a moisturiser after cleansing and toning, as well as all of the long-term benefits you feel from using it. As I mentioned earlier I have just finished my last serum, this one actually is perhaps more suited to my skin than the last one, as it’s for a more mature skin (sobs) and mine is showing all the classic symptoms.
A potent anti-ageing serum, formulated with rare and precious ingredients, that smoothes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and helps keep skin looking younger, for longer.
This sinks in instantly, doesn’t leave any sticky residue and my next stage Artistry radiance moisture cream sat well on top of it, before being absorbed too. I didn’t feel like I needed to top it up at all. I’ve used it for the last two weeks and feel my skin is much softer for having used it.
3. Advanced Skin Refinisher : £53.35
I was really intrigued to try this one. I do suffer with uneven skin around my nose area, so really wanted to visually see the results. It is said comparable to a professional fractional laser treatment. I have been trying it out for just one week so far, but I can’t as yet see any difference in my skin, other than its softer, but I’m going to keep using it, and update you with any differences in the coming weeks.
ARTISTRY INTENSIVE SKINCARE Advanced Skin Refinisher is an intensive “Smart Pore Eraser” for instantly softer, more even-textured skin and a progressively more refined look and feel.
Thank you to Amway for sending me these samples to try.
