Easter is a time of refection, newness and birth. Families everywhere will be spending time together, whether they are using the bank holiday to finish all of that DIY, gardening, Easter egg hunts or just enjoying the extra time to lounge, chill and to eat and have fun.
I have been collecting ideas for an amazing Easter Brunch or Lunch with the family, on my Pinterest board below. Pinterest is the perfect place to find inspiration, and on this board I’ve gathered delicious egg recipes as well as how to decorate the Easter table, simply and elegantly. Of course eggs, are a big tradition at Easter, so how about that as your theme.

You could use the plain white china you already have, but how about treating yourself to some new pieces too. Egg cups are such a great one to use as a table decoration, and you can of course use them throughout the year afterwards. Growing cress like this is something the children would love to do, and it only takes a couple of days to germinate. With fresh linens and pastel egg cups it would look so elegant. How about making little cards with everyone’s names on, and adding them to the cress foliage, as place settings if you were inviting guests along?
Think beyond the crockery section though for inspiration, and how about visiting the baking aisle. With a cookie cutter of any Easter shape, fill it with coloured sweets for your guest to munch on before the meal, I little naughty I know, but it is Easter.

Or how about using the paper cupcake cases filled with sweets, as these look like the centre of a daffodil.
An Easter table for me has to have flowers and greenery. Spring flowers are such a welcome relief after winter time. I love the idea of planting up a trough found in the gardening section for the table, filled with herbs. Chives, basil and rosemary would work well, and dot chocolate or hollow decorative eggs within it. Or as below use blown out eggs to hold small sprigs of flowers. This would make a great activity to do with your children.

Pretty and vintage looking teacups filled with flowers are a gorgeous alternative to vases. If you buy a mirror for the centre of your table to place the flowers on, it would help make the floral arrangement feel more abundant. Artificial flowers are something that if used correctly can look amazing, and give great value for money because they can be used again.
So these are just some of my ideas for an Easter Brunch table setting, can you think of any more?
