My eldest daughter is a treasure, both of them are though, I really am lucky. Nia – 13, is at the point now where she is having to burn the candle at both ends, what with school and homework, band practice, flute exams, Cheerleading three times a week and national competitions. Some of those things mean she is having to get up really early, and not in bed until very late. She works so hard, I’m incredibly proud of her and her achievements.
So as a little treat, and because I know that sleep is the most important thing to a teenager, well after Instagram and hair straighteners, she has had some new bedding, and I wanted to share it with you today.
Bedeck : Fable Kashan Bedding in Blue
This Bedeck Fable Kashan is understated, simple and very fresh looking. With a white back ground, and a paisley design in shades of blue and a tiny bit of gold.
This graphic blue and white block print is reminiscent of the kinds of repeating linear patterns seen in traditional tilework. Smart, yet understated, it’s a stylish paisley design with a timeless quality. Finish by teaming with the co-ordinating luxurious accessories, including the Shiraz cable-knit throw and Kalim embroidered cushion.
It’s such a soft cotton, and washes beautifully. Its made from 100% cotton pecale, with a 300 thread count. There is nothing like the feeling of good quality bed linen!
How about this Neals Yard Night Time aromatherapy blend too.
This blend of grounding vetiver and relaxing lavender brings welcome relief when you find it difficult to relax and switch off. It will stop your mind whirring and give you a refreshing nights sleep. Ideal for vaporisation.
I know people swear by this, and think it’s a good idea to have some in the house for those stressful exam times, along with a copy of Alice in Wonderland to help her drift off.
Sweet dreams Nia.

I love the beautiful, delicate pattern. Gorgeous.
I hadn’t realised how busy Nia is! Wow! She is already adept at multi-tasking at 13.

That’s gorgeous, I love the colour and print. I have been perusing for a while now trying to find a lovely new duet and cover, something lovely and luxe for my little boy to encourage him to stay in his own bed! I don’t think I have slept a full night in four years as he always tiptoes into our bed at 3am to get under our duck down duvet. I’m now thinking, ok, maybe time to get him some more sumptuous bedding of his own! A boy after my own heart! Lovely post x
