Its giveaway time! If you follow me on Instagram you will know that I was one of first people in the UK to try out Coca-Cola Life. I first heard about the new drink, when I visited BritMums this year, as Coca-Cola were my amazing sponsor for the event. When we were chatting about the new drink and why they were adding ‘Life’ to the range, they promised to send us all some, and wanted us to give our honest feed back.
It may be green, but it is undeniably Coca-Cola!
Well it caused quite a lot of buzz, both with my family all dying to taste the new drink and with people who follow me on Social Media.
What did I think?
I then took to twitter and instagram :
Verdict of the new #cocacolalife…Delicious, a lighter taste than diet coke, with no horrible after taste. Very refreshing. I like it!
I am a Coca-Cola brand fan, Diet Coke and Diet Vanilla and Cherry being my Coca-Cola flavours of choice, and I think this one fits well into the Coke family. Coca-Cola have been looking at ways in which they can help with obesity and getting people active, so this is another fantastic initiative from them.
So what’s different?
Coca‑Cola Life is the first lower-calorie cola sweetened from natural sources.
Stevia sweetener contains zero calories and is extracted from the leaves of the stevia plant. The stevia plant is a relative of the chrysanthemum, native to Paraguay, and has been used to sweeten drinks ever since indigenous people first discovered its flavour. It has been grown, harvested and used in South America for around 200 years.

I’m a little ashamed to say my favourite it classic coca cola, but I do limit myself to only having it when we are on holiday or days out and I stick to diet the rest of the time.
Diet Coke! is my favorite.
I’ve got to say that original Coca Cola is my favourite – I’ve tried diet, zero etc and they all have a foul aftertaste, the bane of diet versions of drinks. Haven’t tried this new one yet but it sounds worth a go ;o)

Good old Diet Coke !
I saw this cola in Mexico last summer, tried it and loved it. Now Ive seen it in Tesco and have bought a bottle for the family to try. Its alright isnt it. My favourite flavour of Coke has to be diet cherry coke. YUMMY!!

Original, although Cherry Coke is also very nice. I don’t like the taste of Coke Zero or Diet Coke. The artificial sweeteners don’t taste nice and I would prefer to trust a natural ingredient like sugar.
I prefer the original Coca Cola, but I do love the version with lemon but I can never find it anywhere.
I haven’t tried Coca Cola Life yet, but I like the fact that it doesn’t have an aftertaste like Coca Cola Zero & Diet Coke! I’ll probably go & try it now, thank you.
