I’m loving writing this series on finishing touches for the home. If you missed any you can read more of the HERE. Hopefully I’ll be adding more of them as the year progresses.
Today I am looking at adding photographs into your home. Now this is a great opportunity to show you my photograph wall, and two special photographs I had printed and framed with Photobox.
I love canvases, but sometime the traditional look of a frame with a mount, is what’s needed, and this is the look we have gone for in our kitchen. Each of the pictures (apart from one seen below) on this wall have a mount in cream or white, and a black frame. Our two latest additions are from our recent trip to Center Parcs, you can read more it HERE, and a trip to Build-A-Bear.
They were fantastic value for money, and they look far more expensive than they actually were. The Timeless Framed Prints start at £54.99 for a 25 x 20 inch print, and knowing how expensive it is to get things framed, this is a great price. The photographs themselves, are fantastic quality too.
My other new additions are these Clear Acrylic Sandwich Blocks. I have two of them which are currently in our living room windowsill. They would also well on a desk. The photographs were included, and were also great quality and from photobox.
The beauty of these, is that they are very sleek in design and minimal, but would work well in many different style homes. My living room has quite a vintage feel but I think look very much at home.
The acrylic block is double sided, and the photograph can be changed very easily, by sliding the two sections apart. They feel very substantial and heavy to hold, but create a light look for displaying your photographs. Prices start at £31.99 for a 6 x 4 inch block.
So what do you think about these finishing touches?
