The Perfect Gift….for me!

A couple of weeks ago I was chatting via email with one of my most favourite brands. It’s a brand we use every day, and one that quite frankly our lives would but much less richer without.

The brand? Micro Scooters.

I’ve spoken before about our long school run, and how having a Microscooter, has made our lives so much easier, as we can get home quicker. It’s so much more that that though it’s fun and a great form of exercise especially to keep us warm when its chilly or in the rain. As long as Miss A is wrapped up, its her favourite thing to be zooming along on her scooter, even after a long day at school.

I was asked by Micro Scootersto choose an online blogging friend that I could buy a Microscooter gift for, and they could buy one for my family in return. I thought this was the perfect idea, and a great early Christmas present.  I knew exactly who would welcome this the most, and be able to do something really fun with it. Fast forward to me receiving my Micro Scooters gift as chosen by Penny. She could not have chosen better…

Now Miss A is getting fast, I am having to run along side her to keep up, such are her scooting skills. So my very clever pal Penny, had ordered me my very own scooter to keep the pace.

Now this scooter couldn’t be more perfect, not only does it look cool, it glides effortlessly, I think because of those large wheels, and the fact the deck is so close to the ground.  I’m fairly tall (5 ft 9 in) and I didn’t feel like I had to haunch to use it.  If you are shorter than me though the handle bar is adjustable.

As you can see its perfect for dog walking, really tiring out my pooch Bennett. We’ve quickly developed a technique where he runs along side me and he loves it!

 

I also bought a carry case for Miss A’s Scooter, so I could easily carry hers on the way to school, whilst I was scooting, there are a couple of designs to choose from and only £14.95. So carrying her scooter should be easy now, and I won’t get my clothes dirty.

Because of the darker nights we’ve also invested in a Scoot Beamz, making sure she stays visable in the poorer light.  They come in four different colours, yellow, pink, blue and green.  We opted for blue, as its Miss A’s favourite colour. They are really easy to attach, and great value at £6.99.
